(1) If a non-resident Nepali or his family wishes to register his name as a non-resident Nepali, he must submit an application to the designated authority along with the prescribed documents.
(2) If an application is received as per sub-section (1), the designated officer shall conduct the necessary investigation and establish a record of non-resident Nepalis as prescribed.
